SHERA’s roundtable is dedicated to successful digitalization projects in art history, spanning digital tools for research, online archives, and virtual environments for museum collections. The speakers will address their essential work in using digital tools in art history, including the creation of the Reader in East-Central-European Modernism 1918–1956 at The Courtauld, the development of the online Norton Dodge Collection at the Zimmerli Museum, and leadership of the virtual outlet of Art Margins Online. The roundtable participants will also discuss future opportunities for digitalization and its transformative potential for art history.
